Detail Preparator - Composite

Your Role

In your role as a detail preparator, you will work on both new construction and modernization projects for submarines and surface vessels. You will be part of the collaboration between design/technical preparation and production in the development and integration of new technical solutions.

As a Detail Preparatory, you create work orders based on a completed production basis and plan for an efficient production implementation in the production facility's equipment and processes. The completed preparation is handed over to production, and when it's time to start manufacturing, you will support the initiation of the work. Your daily work involves several cross-functional interfaces, and in addition to continuous coordination with production staff, it often includes dialogue with Technical Preparators, Production Technicians, and in some cases, Designers.

Your Profile

As a person, you are curious and relationship-building, with a drive to find solutions that optimize production work. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and who understands the importance of interacting and working cross-functionally to find the best answers to complex problems.

Requirements

• Education in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong technical interest and a curious approach.

Desirable Experience

• Marine industry, process or manufacturing industry in the composite area.
• Large-scale, complex development projects and operations.
• Design and development of production basis.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements, this may involve citizenship requirements in certain cases.
